Meet Alyssa and Dennis

A little about The ShamCam founders

We are Alyssa and Dennis Shambora, Southwest Florida natives based in Sarasota, Florida.

It started with a passion for creating something that brought people together in a meaningful way. I’ve always been the creative dreamer, while Dennis brings the practical mindset and support to help turn those ideas into reality. Our company name is our own last name, Shambora.

We built it because we believe the best memories are found in the unexpected moments: the laughter, the connection, and the moments you'll look back on for years to come. So we do not park a booth in the corner and walk away. We create an interactive guest experience that gets people to step in, connect, laugh and make memories together. Our goal is to make the photo booth part of the celebration itself.

We are based in Sarasota and travel up to 75 miles, which covers Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch, Venice, Englewood and Tampa.

ShamCam Collective creates elevated photo booth experiences for weddings, corporate events, private celebrations, and special occasions throughout Southwest Florida. Whether you are planning an intimate gathering or a large celebration, we design each experience to fit the style, energy, and vision of your event.

2. How much space is needed for the photo booth setup?

Our open-air photo booth setup is designed to fit beautifully into a variety of venues. We typically recommend approximately 10 feet by 10 feet of space to allow guests to comfortably enjoy the experience while keeping the setup visually appealing.

3. How far in advance should I book?

We recommend reserving your date as early as possible, especially for weddings and peak event seasons. Popular dates can book quickly, and your date is officially secured once your booking agreement and retainer are completed.

4. What is included with a ShamCam photo booth rental?

Each collection includes professional DSLR photography, a modern open-air booth setup, digital sharing options, custom-designed photo templates, and a curated experience tailored to your event. Package inclusions vary based on the collection you choose, including options for prints, backdrops, keepsakes, and additional enhancements.

5. Can you customize the photo experience for my event?

Absolutely. Every ShamCam experience is thoughtfully customized to reflect your event. From photo templates, welcome screens, and print designs to backdrops, signage, keepsake packaging, and curated enhancements, every detail is designed to complement your style, theme, and vision. Whether you're planning a wedding, corporate event, or private celebration, we'll create an experience that feels uniquely yours.

6. Can I book a backdrop without renting a photo booth?

Absolutely! Our Styled Backdrop Collection is available to rent for weddings, corporate events, private parties, and special celebrations, even without booking a ShamCam photo booth. Choose from our Flower Wall Installation starting at $250 or our Custom Drapery Installation starting at $350. Looking for an even more personalized look? Custom florals, event signage, and additional styling details are available starting at $50.
